OUR CANOE TRIPS

As with Maffu Adventures we like to keep our sessions small for a more fun and friendly experience.

So we have a limit of 4 participants per session using 2 Canoes unless stated.

These activities are subject to appropriate water levels being available.

RIVER DERWENT

Darley Bridge to Matlock Bath

£50PP

Canoe trip within the Peak District. This is suitable for teenagers to adults with good co-ordination required to get to grips with the canoes quickly on moving water.
After our safety briefing we begin our descent of the river, having ago at some canoe skills at the start in order to negotiate the moving water, rapids, bridges and avoid those rocks!! Its 2 people per canoe - max group size 4 people. If an odd numbered group then one person will be solo this person would need to have been in a canoe before. Minimum age 13 with parent. Hopefully a relatively dry trip, but capsizes do happen!!

On this session you will have your own individual canoe to paddle, with a minimum booking of 2 people.

These sessions are excellent if you are on your own or just want to get out on the water and gain more experience and get that 121 lead time on the water!.
